What if I’m not absolutely happy with my LifeStation senior alert system?

If you are not happy, we do not want you to keep it. That’s why we offer a 30 day money back guarantee for all medical alert systems. To cancel, you may contact customer service at any time for instructions on returning your LifeStation medical alert.

Do I need to sign a long-term contract?

No long term contracts are needed for LifeStation unlike some of its competitors. If you’re unhappy with any of our medical alert systems you may cancel at any time.

How often do I get billed for my medical alert?

Our billing cycles are designed to fit within any families budget including monthly, quarterly, and annual payment plans.

Can I take my medical alert system with me if I move?

Absolutely! LifeStation will monitor your medical alert in all 50 states and Puerto Rico. Simply call our customer service department at 800-998-2400 and give us your new address and phone number.

I want LifeStation for my mom and dad who live together - do I pay two monitoring fees?

You simply pay one monitoring fee plus an additional $3.99 per month for the extra help button.

How will emergency responders get into my home if I fall and can’t get up?

Should we have to contact medical personnel, we will also contact any friends / neighbors / family members on your contact list that have a key to meet the medical responders and open your door.

If you are concerned about your contact people not being there in time, we recommend ordering a LifeStation Lock Box. The LifeStation Care Specialist will provide the lock box key door combination to the responding medical personnel allowing them to gain access to your home without doing damage.

What is the average response time after I press my help button?

It takes about 20 seconds to hear the live voice of our certified dispatchers after your medical alert has been pressed. We encourage monthly tests so that you can see first hand how quickly we respond.

What repair/replacement service is provided with the my LifeStation medical alert? How often does the equipment need to be serviced?

LifeStation is responsible for replacement of all medical alert systems due to normal “wear and tear”. The systems are not protected if they are damaged beyond our control (e.g. water damage, power surge, lost, broken etc.). We do offer a LifeStation Protection Plan which includes 2 complimentary replacements of help buttons and / or 1 replacement of a medical alert system annually.

What if I am unable to speak when I press the Help Button?

If we are unable to hear you for any reason, your protection is still our priority! A LifeStation Care Specialist will contact those you have pre-selected (local EMS, neighbors, relatives — whomever you choose).

How do I get technical support?

Call our LifeStation Tech Support Team at 1-800-998-2400. Our specially trained Tech Support Representatives will be able to assist with installation, testing, and any other questions regarding your equipment. We are here to help!

How do I add a spouse to my account?

Very simple. You can call our LifeStation Customer Service, and we are available any time to help protect your spouse as well!

My elderly mother only speaks Spanish, do you have Spanish speaking operators?

Absolutely, we have translation services in Spanish! We also have translation services in many other languages to any loved ones’ needs.

Is there a charge for accidentally pressing my medical alert button?

Never! LifeStation does not charge for help button activations whether real or accidental. If an accidental press occurs, simply tell the dispatcher and your medical alert device will be reset.

Please Note: Municipalities hold different rules regarding false activations. LifeStation is not responsible for any fees from municipalities.

How do I send my senior alert equipment back?

When you are ready to end your service with us, simply call LifeStation Customer Service Department and we are available any time to help you cancel your service and provide you with the return instructions.

Does the monitoring operator always call 911?

All of our dispatch protocols are completely customizable. We can call emergency responders first or a list of family and friends. We understand that each family’s needs are different and work around your ever changing needs.

Are there any free medical alert systems?

Can I wear my medical alert in the shower or bath?

Yes! In fact, we encourage you to wear your medical alert in the bath and shower, as many accidents can occur in this area. All our medical alert systems are waterproof.

How does the system work for old people who are hearing impaired?
